WELLPOINT does not control these systems itself; the adjustments are made by your team or your building technician. Measure energy use before and after each change to see what it brings in your building.
Smarter Resource and Maintenance Planning
Visitor counts also help plan cleaning, maintenance and facility services. Instead of fixed routines, cleaning rounds can follow the number of visitors: more often after busy days, less often when few people came in. A floor or wing can be measured separately only through counters at its entrances.
Planned this way, cleaning hours, consumables and water can go where use is highest, without lowering hygiene standards in the busiest parts of the building.
Supporting Environmental Goals
Lower energy and resource use means a smaller carbon footprint. Monthly totals per location and CSV export on PLUS and PRO make it easier to include building use in your own sustainability reporting, for example as energy use per visitor.
The counting itself is privacy-first. GDPR-friendly by design: no camera, no images, no identification of people – only anonymous entry and exit counts. Full GDPR compliance also depends on the specific data-processing context.
Connecting with Building Systems
There is no built-in connection to building management systems. On PRO, the API can be used to integrate WELLPOINT visitor counts with POS, BI or other business systems, so an integrator can bring the counts into the tools your building team already uses.
